Jacquelyn Berry Biography
Dr. Jacquelyn Berry is a Cognitive Scientist and Fulbright U.S. Scholar who established the first experimental psychology laboratory in Egypt. She studies learning, cognition, and human-computer interaction and is the first person of color to graduate with a Doctorate in Cognitive Psychology from the University at Albany in New York.
Prior to that she attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where she earned her BSc, MBA, and MSc degrees. Dr. Berry travelled to Egypt as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar to study bilingualism and technology in Arabic-English speakers.
Dr. Berry’s motivational book 'Find Your Carrot' is a bestseller and has been translated into Arabic. A founding member of 'AI for Afrika', Dr. Berry spoke before the United Nations about her work on language and technology. Her work incorporates eye-tracking, AI, and includes studying astronaut health and performance during Space walks. Dr. Berry founded 'GameChanger Research Solutions' to support psychological research worldwide.
