Hilary Farr is a British-Canadian interior designer, television host, and businesswoman whose career encompasses decades of work in home renovation, interior design, and television. Farr began her professional journey with pursuits in ballet, theater, acting, and film-set design, establishing a multidisciplinary foundation. Early in her career, she appeared in productions including "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" while simultaneously developing her skills in design by purchasing and renovating properties in Los Angeles, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Her renovation projects have included work for high-profile clients, such as Jenna Elfman and Jennifer Hudson.
Farr gained international recognition as the co-host and designer on HGTV's "Love It or List It," a series she anchored for 19 seasons and more than 200 episodes. The show, which features Farr's renovation expertise alongside real estate agent David Visentin, became one of HGTV's top-performing programs, attracting millions of viewers.
