Genevieve Padalecki is an American actress. She is most known for her roles on the television series "Wildfire" as Kris Furillo and her recurring role in "Supernatural" as the demon Ruby.
Now & Gen is the blog Padalecki launched in 2017 to document her life in Houston, Texas, with with her husband, Jared Padalecki, 3 kids, 2 dogs, 14 chickens and a hive of honeybees. The blog came just months after Padalecki's Instagram debut, where her beautiful photos of her family quickly made her account amass over 600,000 followers in just a few months. She now updates her blog weekly, along with her YouTube channel. Padalecki also founded Towwn, an online community focused on promoting a lifestyle of sustainability.
Padalecki made her return to acting when she was cast in a recurring role in The CW's crime drama series "Walker," a reboot of the original television show of "Walker, Texas Ranger." She played the role Emily Walker, the late wife of Cordell Walker, who was played by her husband Jared Padalecki. The series premiered on January 21, 2021.
Padalecki also performed in regional productions of "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," "Crimes of the Heart" and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Padalecki holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in drama and a bachelor of arts in English from the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.
