A born communicator, Erica Zidel is passionate about sharing ways to make life easier. She is the Founder and CEO of SittingAround, a company that has revolutionized the way parents find and coordinate childcare. Bringing collaborative consumption to the childcare market, SittingAround has been called “the Airbnb of babysitting.”
Erica was honored by the White House as a Champion of Change for the work she is doing as a young CEO who is shaping the future through remarkable innovation. She was the 2011 December cover of Entrepreneur magazine, and she speaks frequently about her ability to bootstrap a successful company. Prior to founding SittingAround, Erica worked as a management consultant advising Fortune 500 companies on eCommerce and business strategy. Erica is committed to improving the climate of corporate America in order to promote a healthier balance between work and family life.
