Dr. Dionna Hancock-Johnson

Dr. Dionna Hancock-Johnson is a celebrity life coach, motivational speaker, psychologist and a bestselling author. She opened her first corporation, Dr. Dionna Hancock International Corporation, the holding company for her business Energetic Life Coaching, LLC, which opened in 2010. Dr. Dionna is truly an inspiration, looking to set the stage for others who have been through tough life situations, are struggling with success or finding the path of their heart’s desire.

Dr. Dionna published her first book, “Where Did My Half-Brother Come From?,” which is designed to help children embrace, love, and accept their half siblings that are raised through a difficult parenting situation due to divorce or separation. Her second bestselling book, “Be Your Own Life Coach: How to Life Coach Yourself Into What You Want,” is a comprehensive self-help title that trains, inspires, and motivates readers to become their own life coaches. Dr. Dionna Hancock-Johnson helps readers learn how to become their own life coach by understanding their purpose in life, what they want out of life and the strategies they need to overcome their daily struggles to begin reaching their goals. Her profound work with Celebrities in the Entertainment Industry has inspired her to write Be Your Own Life Coach: The Hollywood Edition, which was released in the summer of 2015.

Born and raised in Washington, DC, she grew up very poor and went through troubling storms, including being molested, physically abused, bullied, kidnapped, and living in a car for a short period of time because of no family support.

Growing up, Dr. Dionna was the oldest of 8 siblings and didn’t have time to focus on dreaming like other people, but she did have opportunities to want to take herself out of the situation she was growing through. She learned how to life coach herself through believing in herself, believing in God, and staying focused. She felt like she had to be the one to change things for her family; to be the first to get out; to leave DC, to go to school in Oregon and just keep moving. She hasn’t looked back ever since.

She realized early in life that the pain, expectations, and scars people had put on her were experiences she would wear on her back for the rest of her life but she made a promise to herself that those experiences would never stop her stride. So, she became obsessed with learning and getting an education was her outlet of choice. In her later years, Dr. Dionna was starved for knowledge and begin life coaching herself into pursuing success, education, happiness, faith, and hope. She believes no matter what anyone goes through, they can find the fight in themselves to succeed too. Her mantra then and still to this day is “Self-medication through self-education!"

In addition to this, Dr. Dionna is now a celebrity life coach who works with celebrity clients in the entertainment industry. She provides help to her celebrity clients in several areas, including maximizing potential, staying level headed at all times, building a positive support team, coping with success, motivation, peer pressure, family expectations, personal and professional self-esteem, replacing negative thinking with positive perspectives, balancing their chakra if needed, and introducing them to info-preneurship, (which is one of her coaching programs that helps turn their fan base into more streams of income by producing informational products to their fans).

Dr. Dionna is considered the “Life Strategies Guru” and has been the keynote speaker for several organizations including: the University of Southern California, the Circle of Hope Breast Cancer Organization, Barnes and Noble and the very first life coach to be a Life Skills Instructor and Group Leader at the Pasadena Recovery Center where she featured a series of presentations to patients who were attempting to recover from celebrity drawbacks, drug addiction, and learning to live in sobriety, to name a few.

Dr. Dionna is also a mother and wife.
