Doctor Striker has worked hard for unity in the music and arts community in the Bay Area. Through leading, organizing, and running several high-profile events, our team has learned the ins and outs of working with people of different backgrounds, and perfected many methods of achieving success. We would love to share the secrets of leadership and community with you.
PAUL RICHTER-VOCALS AND LEAD GUITAR:
Paul is the founder and manager of Doctor Striker. He graduated with a dual degree in Economics and History from the University of Michigan. After graduating, he moved to Oakland, California to pursue a career in music. He has performed hundreds of speeches and shows for thousands of people across multiple states. He was a music, math, and economics teacher for 5 years before moving into the speaking business. He likes to see the world from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives, using his training of Economics, History, and Music. Paul is proficient at over 10 instruments.
GUINEVERE NEWMAN-VOCALS AND BASS:
Guinevere Newman is an award-winning composer, a full-time musician, a published poet, and a professional public speaker. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of San Francisco. Drawing on her study of poetry, activism, and personal experience, Guinevere delivers an inspiring, empowering message with the goal of encouraging personal progress and radical self-reliance.
WILL XIONG-VOCALS AND RHYTHM GUITAR:
Will Xiong is a musician, artist, and graphic designer. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Media arts and Animation from the Art Institute of California - San Francisco. Will is the swiss army knife of Doctor Striker. From guitar and backing vocals to trouble shooting computer issues and designing posters, no task is too small.
JASON YOUNG-DRUMS:
Jason Young is a professional drummer and live sound engineer. He studied acting at Foothill Theater Conservatory in Los Altos, California. Mr. Young was a featured speaker at The Liberty Experience. He is active in the San Francisco Bay Area music scene and tours with various bands around the United States.
