Dave Morin, a seasoned entrepreneur and technology expert, is widely recognized for his pivotal role at Facebook, where he co-invented Facebook Connect and Facebook Platform. Although Google showed interest in acquiring Path for $100 million, Morin continued to develop the platform until its acquisition by Kakao in 2015.
Beyond his notable achievements in social media, Morin is the Founder & Partner at Slow Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in forward-thinking startups such as "Slack", "Pinterest", and "Robinhood". He is also the Co-Founder & CEO of Sunrise, a company dedicated to curing depression and alleviating suffering through innovative blends of science, technology, and spirituality.
