Charity Lawson Biography
Charity Lawson is an American television personality and licensed child and family therapist, widely recognized for her role as the lead on Season 20 of The Bachelorette. Born in Columbus, Georgia, she earned her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Auburn University. Before stepping into the public eye, she worked at a child advocacy center, where she focused on supporting children and families through trauma-informed care.
Charity first captured national attention as a contestant on Season 27 of The Bachelor, where she stood out for her authenticity, empathy, and composure. Her popularity led her to be selected as the Bachelorette in 2023, where she became engaged to Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist.
