She is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD+C), Homes (LEED AP Homes), and a LEED Green Rater. Holding an MEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering and Architecture, her multidisciplinary background and specialization in Building Information Modelling (BIM) fuel her passion for creating architecture that embodies consideration, environmental consciousness, energy efficiency, and resilience.
Her academic background and professional credentials make Gibbons a vocal advocate for net-zero building practices and virtual architectural modeling. Her commitment to these areas is evident in her specialization in Building Information Modelling (BIM), a modern and efficient approach to architectural design. Gibbons serves as the project lead for futureCITY[x] at FutureBARBADOS, an organization dedicated to the transformation of Barbados while addressing societal harms. futureCITY[x] aims to bridge the gap between civic, climate, and fintech to deliver SMART cities of the future Global South.
