Alex Bregman Biography
Alex Bregman, currently a third baseman for the Chicago Cubs, has an impressive track record in professional baseball. Formerly with the Houston Astros and the Boston Red Sox, Bregman has been named a 3-time All-Star in 2018, 2019, and 2025, and led the American League in doubles in 2018. His prowess on the field led Bregman to be a 2-time World Series champion in 2017 and 2022. He received the Gold Glove Award in 2024 and the Silver Slugger Award in 2019. In 2018, Bregman was named the MVP of the MLB All-Star Game, a testament to his skill and value as a player.
Before his professional career, Bregman showed promising talent in college baseball, winning the 2013 Brooks Wallace Award as the country's best college shortstop and being named the 2013 National Freshman of the Year by Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball, and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
