Shoshana Ungerleider, MD is a board-certified, practicing internal medicine physician, producer and host of the TED Health and Before We Go podcasts, founder of End Well, science advocate and a leading voice in healthcare. She is widely recognized as an expert at helping people confront their mortality and navigate life's challenging transitions.

She works as an internist at Crossover Health in San Francisco. Dr. Ungerleider received her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR and completed residency at California Pacific Medical Center where she serves on the Executive Board of the Foundation Board of Trustees. She is also a limited partner in Trucks Venture Capital Fund.

Dr. Ungerleider is the founder and President of the Board of End Well, a nonprofit focused on transforming the end of life into a human-centered experience. In recent years, she was involved with two Academy Award-nominated Netflix short documentaries about the end-of-life experience: "Extremis" and "End Game."
