Ryan Hurd Biography
Ryan Hurd is a country music singer and songwriter whose music career took off as a songwriter, penning chart-topping singles for renowned country artists Blake Shelton, Lady A, and Luke Bryan. Hurd's talent and hard work led to a recording contract with RCA Records Nashville, and he later signed with Sony Music Nashville in 2017 to release his debut album. Hurd made a name for himself in the industry with his distinctive songwriting and singing, earning spots on Rolling Stone Country's "Artists You Need to Know" list and CMT's "Listen Up" Artists of 2016.
Hurd's own musical releases have also found considerable success, with his debut single, "Love in a Bar," and his 2021 duet with his then-wife Maren Morris, "Chasing After You," gaining significant traction. This duet reached No. 3 on the country charts and No. 23 on the Hot 100. His music has received millions of streams on Spotify, with his first single from his self-titled EP, "We Do Us," alone garnering over 2 million streams. He has also released several studio albums, extended plays, and singles, with his album Pelago being released in October 2021.
