Martin Starr is an actor recognized for his portrayals of deadpan, intellectually sharp characters in television and film. Starr gained early attention with his role as Bill Haverchuck in "Freaks and Geeks," a cult classic created by Paul Feig and Judd Apatow. His performance earned a Young Artist Award nomination and contributed to the show's enduring popularity despite its brief run.
After "Freaks and Geeks," Starr experienced a challenging period in his acting career, considering leaving the industry before being cast in the comedy film "Knocked Up."
