Lynn Goldman currently holds the position as the Michael and Lori Milken Dean at Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University. Prior to this prominent role, Goldman served as a professor of environmental health sciences at Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her academic roots are deeply embedded in the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a B.S. in conservation of natural resources and an M.S. in health and medical science. Furthering her education, she acquired an M.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins University and an M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco.
Goldman's professional journey extended beyond academia, with her tenure as the assistant administrator for the EPA's Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention. Moreover, she took on a leadership role at the California Department of Public Health, where she headed the Division of Environmental and Occupational Disease Control.
