Luis C. M. O. De Almeida, PhD, is an award-winning educator, academic leader and speaker whose work sits at the intersection of teaching excellence, media, technology and leadership. De Almeida serves as director of the Center for Teaching Excellence at Midlands Technical College, where he works with faculty and senior leadership to improve teaching quality, student success and institutional culture. De Almeida holds a doctorate in Instructional Systems from Penn State and completed executive leadership training at Harvard University. A former department chair at multiple institutions, De Almeida brings deep experience across HBCUs and PWIs, public and private colleges.
