Heather Headley Biography
Heather Headley began playing the music of her native Trinidad at age four. Her gift of music has inspired thousands and has landed her a lead role in several musicals such as Broadway’s The Lion King (in which she played Nala), Aida (earning her the Tony Award for Best Actress in 2000) and a concert version of the musical Dreamgirls. Headley released her debut album, This Is Who I Am, in 2002 and received a Grammy Award nomination Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.
