Erin Andrews is a prominent sportscaster with a career spanning more than two decades in American sports media. Andrews began her career with FOX Sports Florida-South as a freelance reporter and Tampa Bay Lightning reporter for Sunshine Network. Before joining FOX Sports, Andrews spent eight years at ESPN, where she hosted the first hour of "College GameDay" on ESPNU and served as a features reporter for the full three-hour program. She also worked as a sideline reporter for NCAA football and basketball games. Andrews joined ESPN as a reporter for the network's National Hockey League coverage and later transitioned into college football and basketball reporting.
Andrews joined Fox Sports and became the lead sideline reporter for the network's NFL broadcasting team. As a FOX Sports reporter, Andrews provides exclusive interviews and sideline reports from FOX NFL's top game each week as part of the network's lead crew. She has contributed to major FOX Sports events, including four Super Bowls, 10 NFC Championships, as well as World Series and MLB All-Star Games. Andrews also gained recognition for placing third on the tenth season of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" and later co-hosted the show with Tom Bergeron.
Andrews became the first female recipient of the Pat Summerall Award, which recognizes significant contributions to sports broadcasting and community impact.
