In addition to his writing, Dr. Townsend co-hosts the nationally syndicated talk show "New Life Live," which is broadcast across 180 markets and reaches 3 million listeners. His engaging, insightful, and humorous delivery has made him a sought-after speaker both nationally and internationally. Dr. Townsend holds a B.A. in psychology with honors from North Carolina State University, a master of theology degree with honors from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Biola University. Dr. Townsend is also an active board member of Mustard Seed Ranch, a residential program for abused children, and enjoys playing in a band that performs across southern California.
