Dennis Kimbro Biography
Dennis Kimbro is a distinguished educator, best-selling author, and respected professor at Clark Atlanta University School of Business Administration, where he has been awarded "Professor of the Year" three times. His work involves extensive research and application of success principles, particularly within the African American community.
He has written several influential books, including "Think and Grow Rich: A Black Choice," a project that brought to completion Napoleon Hill's unfinished manuscript. Kimbro's other notable works include "Daily Motivations for African American Success," "What Makes the Great Great: Strategies for Extraordinary Achievement," and "The Wealth Choice: Success Secrets of Black Millionaires." His latest book, "What Keeps Me Standing: A Black Grandmother's Guide to Peace, Hope and Inspiration," has also been well received.
Dr. Kimbro earned his B.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma, and both an M.A. and doctorate from Northwestern University, where he focused on wealth and poverty in underdeveloped countries. In addition to his teaching and writing, he is a certified Napoleon Hill Science of Success trainer and leadership coach. He has served as a national judge for the Ernst & Young USA Today Entrepreneur of the Year in 1996 and has received the 2005 H. Naylor Fitzhugh award from the National Black MBA Association, highlighting his status as one of the top professors in the nation.
