Colin Harper, known professionally as Collie Buddz, blends Caribbean roots with modern production, shaped further by his studies in audio engineering at Full Sail University. Emerging from the unlikely reggae hub of Bermuda, he rose to international prominence with his 2007 self-titled debut album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart and introduced him to audiences worldwide.
Led by the summer anthem “Come Around,” the album earned critical praise and inspired collaborations with artists such as Busta Rhymes, Shaggy, G-Unit, and Cypress Hill. Fusing reggae with hip-hop, soca, and dancehall, Buddz established himself as both a global touring artist and a cultural ambassador for the Caribbean.
After leaving Columbia Records in 2008, he launched his independent label, Harper Digital, embracing creative freedom while continuing to tour internationally. Grounded and passionate, Collie Buddz remains dedicated to making music that connects cultures across the globe.
