Colin Quinn is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer known for his incisive social commentary and distinctive comedic voice. Quinn gained national recognition as a cast member and writer on "Saturday Night Live," where he anchored "Weekend Update," the show's news parody segment. Before joining Saturday Night Live, Quinn served as announcer, sidekick, and co-host on MTV's game show "Remote Control."
After his tenure on Saturday Night Live, Quinn hosted Comedy Central's late-night panel show "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn," where he led discussions with prominent New York stand-up comedians on current events and social issues. The show ran for more than 200 episodes and became known for its candid debates and comedic analysis of news stories.
Quinn's film credits include roles such as Dooey in "A Night at the Roxbury," Dickey Bailey in the "Grown Ups" films, and Amy Schumer's father in "Trainwreck."
