Colin Grant is a British historian, author and writer. The son of Black Jamaican immigrants to the UK - as part of the so-called Windrush Generation in the 1950s - Grant explores the legacy of slavery in its various iterations, and its effect on the contemporary African diaspora.
The author of several books, "Homecoming" was a BBC Radio 4 'Book of the Week' and the Daily Telegraph's 'Book of the Year'; his latest book, "What We Leave We Carry," based on a WritersMosaic series of the same name will be published in 2026.
