Ashlee Leppert Biography
Ashlee Leppert is a veteran of the United States Coast Guard where she honorably served as a helicopter mechanic and rescue flight crew member. She had the distinct honor of receiving a personal invitation to President Trump’s 2018 State of the Union Address. There, Leppert was addressed directly by the President and commended, on behalf of herself and her crews, for their rescue work during the devastating Hurricane Harvey.
Leppert has overcome hardships and met challenges with grace under the guidance of God. She has come away with valuable lessons to share. Life’s challenges have taught her to be not just a survivor, but someone who thrives in this amazing, beautiful, complicated world. Leppert’s life’s experiences, combined with a desire to share her secrets to success, sparked a passion to recount her life for the world to read. Her memoir, "The Hurricane Within", was released in print, e-book, and audiobook formats.
Today, she travels all over the country to share her story of resilience through inspirational speaking engagements. Her story leaves every listener on the edge of their seat while igniting inspiration and encouragement.
