Anthony Bradley Biography
Anthony Bradley, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Theology and Ethics at The King’s College, where he previously served as a professor of religious studies and director of the Center for the Study of Human Flourishing. He is also a Research Fellow at the Acton Institute and a Research Professor of Interdisciplinary and Theological Studies at Kuyper College. Dr. Bradley serves as the Theologian-In-Residence at Redeemer Presbyterian Church—Lincoln Square.
Dr. Bradley lectures at various colleges, universities, business organizations, conferences, and churches both within the U.S. and internationally. His published works include: "Liberating Black Theology: The Bible and the Black Experience in America" (2010), "Black and Tired: Essays on Race, Politics, Culture, and International Development" (2011), "The Political Economy of Liberation: Thomas Sowell and James Cone of the Black Experience" (2012), "Keep Your Head Up: America’s New Black Christian Leaders, Social Consciousness, and the Cosby Conversation" (2012), and more recently "Why Black Lives Matter" (2020). His scholarship focuses on topics such as covenant theology, criminal justice reform, poverty, education policy, social ethics, and race in America.
Dr. Bradley's writings on religious and cultural matters have been featured in various journals including the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Washington Examiner, and Christianity Today. He is a recognized voice in broadcast media, having made appearances on networks such as C-SPAN, NPR, CNN/Headline News, and Fox News. Dr. Bradley holds a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from Clemson University, a Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts in Ethics and Society from Fordham University, and a PhD from Westminster Theological Seminary.
