Alishia McCullough is a millennial Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist and Owner of Black and Embodied Counseling and Consulting PLLC.
Professionally, she is a full-time psychotherapist and has experience with individual, group, and couples therapy. The intention within her professional work is to join with you in your journey towards healing and self-reclamation. She center the intersectional narratives of Black, Asian, Brown, dual-heritage, indigenous to the global south, and or have been racialised as 'ethnic minorities' experiencing mental and emotional distress. She also specializes in working with folks living with eating disorders and upholds the values of body justice and fat liberation within Queer, Trans, Black, Indigeneous, People of Color (QTBIPOC). Her passion areas include Anti-Racism, Racial Healing, and Mental Decolonization, and she has been recognized as a major contributor to the field of Black Mental Health in publications such as Bustle.
She is also the co-founder of the Amplify Melanated Voices Movement, which has been featured in magazines, blogs, and gained international following and engagement. She is also the founder of The Holistic Black Healing Collective, an online community aimed to support black and brown people around topics of collective liberation and wellness.
