Urban Electra Biography
Urban Electra, formerly Urban Quartet, started about 6 years ago as a typical, classical, acoustic string quartet. While playing a specially arranged popular tune, during prelude at a wedding, we received energetic applause from the guests. That response made us realize there was a lot of potential to classical musicians playing modern music and decided to put our energy into arranging and performing music that the majority of the public can relate to. We now have over 100 tunes in our repertoire that includes top hits from artists like Muse, Coldplay, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and everything in between. We play high-energy live music for corporate entertainment, social events and festivals.
