Tanya R. Young Williams is a TV personality, legal analyst, inspirational speaker, author and featured contributor to Huffington Post. She is a proud graduate of the Yeshiva University – Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where her concentration was entertainment law. Her undergraduate degree in communications from St. John’s University enabled her to partner her legal knowledge with her passion for on-air broadcasting. Tanya has covered the biggest American trials of the past 10 years. Additionally, her first-hand knowledge of living through and being intimately involved in every phase of a high-profile trial – from jury selection through the verdict announcement proved to be her greatest Criminal Law learning experience. Tanya’s ability to share her unique perspective makes her a much sought after analyst whose commentary is powerfully enlightening to audiences.
Tanya has been a legal analyst for KTLA in Los Angeles, while simultaneously, appearing of national cable outlets to lend her expert analysis. Tanya is fondly known for her brief participation in VH-1’s hit show “Basketball Wives.” Her stance against violence on television prompted her decision to leave the series. Tanya has been featured in numerous magazines and online publications for her positive persona on "Basketball Wives."
