Smallpools Biography
Smallpools, an American indie pop band, was formed in 2013. The band, composed of Sean Scanlon on vocals, Mike Kamerman on guitar, and Beau Kuther on drums, has steadily built a reputation for their energetic performances and catchy tunes. Their debut single, "Dreaming," not only charted number one on The Hype Machine but also secured a place at No. 23 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart. The song gained further recognition when it was included in the FIFA 14 soundtrack and performed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in the same year.
Following their successful debut, Smallpools released their first full-length album, "Lovetap!", on March 23, 2015. The single "Karaoke" from this album was performed on "Late Night With Seth Meyers". Their third album, "Cameras & Coastlines & Covers," was released on August 11, 2023, showcasing their continued growth as a band. Smallpools has also demonstrated its prowess on the live music scene, performing at notable festivals such as Lollapalooza, Rock in Rio USA, and Firefly Music Festival. They have also shared the stage with well-known acts like Two Door Cinema Club, Walk the Moon, Grouplove, Neon Trees, and Twenty One Pilots.
Over the years, Smallpools' music has collectively generated over 100 million streams on Spotify, illustrating their significant presence in the digital music landscape. Currently signed with RCA Records, the band released their latest studio album, "Ghost Town Road," on September 20, 2024.
