Nebraska-born singer-songwriter Scott Wolverton has forged a heartfelt path from farm and baseball diamond to country stage. Picking up guitar at age 10, Wolverton balanced his musical passions with a standout college baseball career at Central Missouri, reaching the NCAA Division II Championship. Following his graduation in 2022, he joined Hutchinson Community College in Kansas as both baseball recruiter and dorm supervisor—roles he continues to juggle alongside launching his music career.
In 2022, he released his debut tracks—including “Dreamer,” “Easier With Friends,” and “Ghost”—recorded in part at a Kansas City studio and partly in his dorm room. That summer, Wolverton unveiled his first full-length album, Chasing A Simple Feeling, featuring a blend of four new originals, a cover of Dylan’s “Girl From the North Country,” and three dynamic live recordings capturing his soulful energy onstage. Drawing comparisons to Zach Bryan and the Turnpike Troubadours, his music weaves folk-rock and earnest country with lyrics grounded in his Nebraska roots, midwestern upbringing, and the simple moments that shaped him.
