Austin Richard Post, known by his stage name, Post Malone, is a rapper, singer-songwriter and country musician. He has gained acclaim for blending musical genres including pop, hip hop, trap, country and rock, his introspective songwriting, and his laconic vocal style. He is a 57-time award-winning and 18-time Grammy-nominated artist.
Born in Syracuse, New York and raised in Grapevine, Texas, Post first attained recognition in 2015 following the release of his debut single "White Iverson", which peaked in the top 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100. He subsequently earned a recording contract with Republic Records.
Malone's debut studio album Stoney (2016), which featured the single "Congratulations", peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200.
beerbongs & bentleys, his second album, was released in 2018 and hit #1 on the Billboard 200. The album included the single "Psycho," featuring Ty Dolla Sign, a song that reached #1 on the U.S. charts. beerbongs & bentleys was nominated for Album of the Year at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
In 2018, he collaborated with Swae Lee on the song "Sunflower" for the soundtrack to the film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which also reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
Malone released his third album, Hollywood's Bleeding, in late 2019, and it became his second #1 album.
His sixth studio album is in the country genre and titled, "F-1 Trillion."
