Dierks Bentley Biography
Dierks Bentley, an American country singer-songwriter and guitarist, launched his music career under Capitol Records. Bentley's discography boasts a lineup of chart-topping hits, with 27 singles landing on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, 18 of which secured the No. 1 spot. He released such Platinum-certified albums like "Dierks Bentley" and "Modern Day Drifter," as well as a Gold-certified album "Long Trip Alone."
Beyond his discography, Bentley's artistic influence extends to film, featuring in a live DVD titled "Live and Loud at the Fillmore," which was filmed in Denver, Colorado.
Bentley was honored with the CMA Award for the Horizon Award (now Best New Artist) in 2005 and was invited to be a member of the esteemed Grand Ole Opry the same year. His song "The Driver," a collaboration with Charles Kelley and Eric Paslay, garnered a Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Bentley also co-hosted the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards on April 3, 2016.
Bentley continues to create and innovate. His tenth studio album, "Gravel & Gold," was released in February 2023 and he is currently on the accompanying "Gravel & Gold Tour." In addition to his solo projects, Bentley's side project, Hot Country Knights, released their debut single "Pick Her Up" in 2020.
