Old Dominion, an American country music band formed in Nashville, is composed of Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, Geoff Sprung, and Brad Tursi. The band is known for its unique blend of contemporary country, rock instrumentation, and pop overtones. Throughout their career, they have released several albums such as "Meat and Candy," "Happy Endings," "Old Dominion," "Time, Tequila & Therapy," and most recently, "Memory Lane" in October 2023. Their songwriting prowess is not restricted to their own music, as they have also penned hit singles for other contemporary country music artists.
They have received the Academy of Country Music Awards for 'Vocal Group of the Year' multiple times in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Their song "One Man Band" was awarded 'Song of the Year' at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2020. Furthermore, their song "Some People Do" from their self-titled album "Old Dominion" received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance in 2021.
Outside of their music, Old Dominion has also made appearances in popular television series like "Nashville" in 2014 and "Songland" in 2019, showcasing their talents to a wider audience. They have also performed in the "CMA Country Christmas" show in 2022. Currently, the band is set to release their sixth album "Odies But Goodies" on September 6, 2024, and will embark on an arena tour to promote their latest album "Memory Lane."
