Kim Hale Biography
Kim Hale is a viral sensation known for leaving her life in New York City as an aspiring Broadway dancer to care for her parents in the final stages of their lives. Just after she lost her second parent during the COVID pandemic, Hale was diagnosed with melanoma. During her treatment, including three skin cancer surgeries, she was diagnosed with Bell's palsy, which left her with trigeminal neuralgia - a neurological condition. Determined as she recovered, she returned to New York and her love of dance. She’s since appeared on Broadway in “Chicago” and received the Dance Role Model Award at the Industry Dance Awards - exemplifying her mantra that “Dreams have no deadline.”
A dedicated educator, Hale spent five years as Assistant Professor of Dance at Syracuse University’s BFA Musical Theater program and taught at AMDA-LA, the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and Steps on Broadway.
