Josh Gracin Biography
Joshua Gracin is an American country music singer, known for his tenure as a former member of the United States Marine Corps. He rose to fame as the fourth-place finalist on the second season of the Fox Network talent competition "American Idol".
Upon completion of his service in the Marine Corps and receiving an honorable discharge, Gracin signed a record deal with Lyric Street Records. His debut album, "Josh Gracin", was released in 2004, generating a number one hit "Nothin' to Lose", and two more top five hits on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. The album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. Additionally, Gracin has contributed songs to soundtracks, such as "Working for the Weekend" for "Herbie: Fully Loaded" and "When I See an Elephant Fly" on the Jim Brickman album "The Disney Songbook."
His follow-up album, "We Weren't Crazy", arrived in 2008, producing five more chart singles, including a top ten in its title track. Gracin continued his musical journey by signing with Average Joe's Entertainment in 2010 and releasing the single "Cover Girl". His third album, "Redemption", was released on November 8, 2011. The album's next single, "Long Way to Go," marked Gracin's first appearance on the adult contemporary chart. His artistic growth was further highlighted in the song "Enough".
Recently, Gracin has shown his versatility by transforming Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" into a country slow jam. He also released a new single titled "Good for You" and premiered the acoustic video for his new single "Nothin' Like Us". Gracin is still actively engaged in the music industry and touring, with recent updates available on his official website.
