Faith Hill is a country pop singer and actress known for her mezzo-soprano voice and influence in both country and mainstream music. Hill has sold more than 40 million records worldwide, establishing a significant presence in the music industry.
Hill's first two albums, "Take Me as I Am" and "It Matters to Me," established her as a leading country artist, each earning multi-platinum certifications and producing three No. 1 singles on Billboard's country charts. Her subsequent albums, "Faith" and "Breathe," expanded her international reach, with "Faith" featuring her first global hit, "This Kiss," and "Breathe" becoming one of the best-selling country albums. The single "Breathe" achieved crossover success and earned Hill three Grammy Awards, including Best Country Album. Her recording of "There You'll Be" for the Pearl Harbor soundtrack became her best-selling single in Europe and an international hit.
Hill's albums "Cry" and "Fireflies" continued her mainstream popularity, with "Cry" earning a Grammy Award for its title track and "Fireflies" producing the hit singles "Mississippi Girl" and "Like We Never Loved at All," the latter also earning a Grammy. Over her career, Hill has received five Grammy Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, four American Music Awards, and other industry honors. The Soul2Soul II Tour with Tim McGraw became the highest-grossing country tour. Billboard recognized Hill as the No. 1 Adult Contemporary artist of the 2000s decade and the 39th best artist overall.
