Eric Richardson Biography

Eric Richardson, CEO of GDA (Growth Development Associates, Inc.), has provided sales and marketing services to companies in more than 30 countries since 1989, when he founded the company. Mr. Richardson’s thirty-year sales career includes positions in sales, regional product marketing, sales management, sales training management, and an assistant sales vice presidency at IBM. Later at Digital Electronics Corporation (DEC) he held leadership positions in sales and marketing management, and ultimately became DEC’s national competitive strategies executive.

Mr. Richardson has a proven track record of producing breakthrough sales results. At IBM he grew a sales unit to five times the previous years revenues, and at Digital he created and implemented demand generation events that led Digital’s mid-Atlantic region to double from $500 million to $1billion in revenue. Modeling the best practices of companies including IBM, AT&T, Digital, Hewlett-Packard and Xerox, Mr. Richardson and his team have created a full curriculum of sales and management skills and best practices training.
