Elizabeth Melendez Fisher Good Biography
Elizabeth Melendez Fisher Good is a nationally recognized anti-trafficking leader, author, and advocate whose career spans corporate America, ministry, and social advocacy. Her background includes experience in corporate settings, serving as an area pastor at Willow Creek Community Church, and developing "REAL TALK," a systemic tool designed to equip churches in addressing exploitation. Fisher Good holds a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's in clinical psychology, credentials that inform her work at the intersection of trauma, advocacy, and systemic change.
Fisher Good co-founded Selah Freedom, a prominent anti-sex trafficking organization that has provided services to thousands of at-risk children and survivors, educated millions, and mobilized volunteers nationwide. Her leadership at Selah Freedom led to the creation of The Selah Way Foundation, a global network of service providers focused on prevention, protection, and provision. She later founded The Foundation United, a platform dedicated to ending sexual exploitation and trafficking through systemic change.
Drawing on her personal experiences, Fisher Good addresses the root causes of sex trafficking, including childhood sexual abuse. She is the author of "Groomed" and "Speak The Unspeakable: Real Talk on Secrets, Sex and Being Set Free," which explore issues of shame, secrecy, and healing within the context of sexual exploitation. Her work in anti-trafficking, trauma recovery, and advocacy has positioned her as a leading voice in the field.
Fisher Good has received recognition such as the New York City Global Business Leader Award, the SRQ Women of Influence Award, the Tampa Bay Business Woman of the Year Award, and inclusion among the 21 Leaders for the 21st Century in New York City. She has delivered talks for military leaders, participated in the Global Strategy Forum in Austria, and spoken at the Conference for The Vision of Leading Women at the Palace of the Parliament Human Rights Hall in Bucharest, Romania. Through training, education, and public speaking, Fisher Good continues to raise awareness about human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and the importance of systemic solutions.
