Christopher McDonald is an actor most recognized for his role as professional golfer Shooter McGavin in "Happy Gilmore," a character he revisited in the 2025 sequel "Happy Gilmore 2." His filmography is extensive, featuring films such as "Grease 2," "Thelma & Louise," "Leave It to Beaver," and "Requiem for a Dream." Further, he has portrayed real-life figures, including game show host Jack Barry in "Quiz Show," and sportscaster Mel Allen in "61*."
