Chris Distefano Biography
Chris Distefano is a stand-up comedian widely recognized for his work in comedy television. He gained prominence for his roles on MTV's "Guy Code" and "Girl Code," and later starred in the IFC hockey comedy "Benders." In 2019, Distefano debuted his hour-long stand-up special, "Chris Distefano: Size 38 Waist," on Comedy Central. His second special, "Speshy Weshy," premiered on Netflix in May 2022. Complementing his television work, Distefano has been a guest on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and has made appearances on "David Letterman."
Distefano's comedic talents extend to the podcasting world as well. He co-hosts the "Hey Babe!" podcast with Sal Vulcano and hosts the "Chrissy Chaos" podcast. He also co-hosted the "History Hyenas" podcast with Yannis Pappas from 2018 to 2021, which resumed in 2024. Additionally, Distefano has been involved in Comedy Central's global podcast initiatives, further evidencing his versatility within the realm of comedy. Beyond podcasting, Distefano has hosted episodes of MLB's "Off The Bat" and MSG's "The Brackets."
In 2018, Distefano was inducted into the Bears Athletic Hall of Fame and signed an overall deal with Comedy Central. He has enjoyed a series of live performance successes, including a sold-out show at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan in February 2022 and participation in the Riyadh Comedy Festival in Saudi Arabia in 2025.
