Cam F. Awesome is a celebrated American amateur boxer, recognized as a 5-time National Champion in the super heavyweight category, with title wins in 2008, 2010, 2013, and 2014. His accomplishments also extend to the Golden Gloves, where he was victorious in 2009, 2011, and 2013. Awesome was the number one heavyweight boxer in the United States for a time, and he still holds an impressive boxing record of 326-30. He was notably featured in the 2017 Netflix boxing documentary Counter Punch.
Apart from his boxing prowess, Awesome is known for his commitment to the Breast Cancer Awareness Program, often fighting in pink. He is the U.S. National Team Captain and the Athlete Director on the USA Boxing Board of Directors. He is also a Southpaw who fights with a counterpuncher style. In December 2015, he secured a significant win in the 201-pound weight class at the U.S. Olympic team trials.
