Anthony Carrigan Biography
Anthony Carrigan's acting career is highlighted by a variety of roles across different mediums. A familiar face in the HBO series "Barry" from 2018 to 2023, Carrigan's portrayal of the Chechen mobster NoHo Hank earned him three nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2019, 2022, and 2023. In the realm of television, Carrigan also portrayed Victor Zsasz in the FOX series "Gotham" from 2014 to 2019 and was part of the cast for the Netflix animated series "Captain Fall," a creation from the minds behind "Norsemen." He also plays Calypso in season two of Netflix's "Twisted Metal."
Expanding his career to the big screen, Carrigan has appeared in several notable films. In 2020, he played the role of the robot Dennis Caleb McCoy in "Bill & Ted Face the Music." He then transitioned into the superhero genre, appearing as Metamorpho in "Superman" in 2025. Carrigan also starred in the A24 film "Death Of A Unicorne" alongside Richard E. Grant, Téa Leoni, and Will Poulter and appeared in "The Adults Murder Mystery" with Evan Rachel Wood and Josh Gad.
