Jamel Phillips, known by his stage name, A$AP Twelvyy, is a rapper from Harlem, New York City. A member of the hip-hop group A$AP Mob, A$AP Twelvyy's stage name is derived from the name of the group and the Harlem area code "212," which is a nickname of Jamel's. Deciding that "A$AP 212" didn't flow well, A$AP Twelvyy settled on his moniker.
In 2016, Twelvyy went on tour with the Flatbush Zombies during the 3001: A Laced Odyssey Tour, along with fellow New York rapper Remy Banks.
A$AP Twelvyy released his debut album, appropriately titled 12, on August 4, 2017.
