I really enjoyed the presentation that Scott did at our non-profit organization, Boots on Deck. In fact, I found it so helpful that I asked my commanding officer if I could invite Scott to present at the Naval Operations Support Center to help other reservists.
Signs of a Great Resume should be utilized by the Department of Defense as a global desktop guide for writing performance evaluations.
As a prior Transition Officer, Human Resources Hiring Manager and currently serving as a Naval Human Resources Officer, I have dealt with thousands of service members experiencing the difficulty of making a good first impression to potential employer due to a poor presented resume. Our service members deserve the opportunity to transition at ease knowing that they can easily refer to their evaluations and find !@#$% making it easier to translate their military experience into civilian terms. Signs of a Great Resume is an invaluable book that we can't afford to start issuing TODAY.

Unlike other speakers who rely on lecturing, Scott took a hands-on approach to teaching the students.
Scott brought his energy and enthusiasm for writing résumés, which carried over to the entire class. When asked about what they thought, the students said "When can he speak to our class again?"

I met Scott when he spoke in my Principles of Marketing class at the University of Central Florida. Besides being ridiculously entertaining he made such valid points about resume writing and general professionalism that I purchased "Signs of a Great Resume" that day.
Since then I have gotten to know Scott and have seen first hand his dedication to serving others, especially members of the military. He has donated his time and expertise to the veteran community at UCF and we cannot thank him enough.
