Rodarius Marcel Green, known professionally as Rod Wave, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter who has been making waves in the music industry since his career took off in 2015. Starting with the release of his first tracks, "Rookie of the Year" and the three-part "Hunger Games" mixtape, Wave quickly gained attention for his unique blend of soulful lyrics and genre-mixing style.
By 2019, he had signed with Alamo Records and his single "Heart on Ice" was going viral on YouTube and TikTok, peaking at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100.
