Pete Wentz is best known as the bassist and lyricist for the rock band "Fall Out Boy". Wentz also founded the record label DCD2 Records and the band Black Cards. Not only has Wentz contributed to Fall Out Boy's hit single "Sugar, We're Goin Down," but he was also instrumental in the band's albums "From Under the Cork Tree," "Infinity on High," "Save Rock and Roll," and "American Beauty/American Psycho," all of which enjoyed considerable success on the Billboard 200.
Currently, aside from his music career, Wentz ventures into entrepreneurship and media with his clothing company Clandestine Industries, a film production company Bartskull Films, and appearances in TV shows. Wentz also released a book titled "The Boy with the Thorn in His Side."
Wentz's philanthropic efforts have also been significant. Wentz has collaborated with Invisible Children, Inc. and UNICEF's Tap Project. Wentz is also a spokesperson for The Jed Foundation's Half of Us campaign, aimed at lowering the rate of teenage suicide.
