Parachute Biography
Parachute is a pop-rock band that was formed in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2006.
Parachute consists of members Will Anderson (vocals, guitar, piano), Kit French (keyboards, vocals, saxophone), and Johnny Stubblefield (drums). Musically, Parachute is known for its radio-friendly, crowd-pleasing mix of blue-eyed soul, funk, and rock.
Parachute released their major-label debut album, Losing Sleep, in 2009, followed by their second album, The Way It Was, in 2011 and their third album, Overnight, in 2013. Vanguard Records released the band's fourth album, Wide Awake, on March 11, 2016.
Their fifth album, the eponymous Parachute, was released in May of 2019.
