Nathan John Feuerstein, known by his initials NF, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He began his music career with his debut studio album "Moments" in 2010 and later released a self-titled EP with Capitol CMG, becoming the first hip-hop artist on the label.
Over the years, NF has released several successful albums including "Mansion", "Therapy Session", "Perception", "The Search", "Clouds", and most recently "Hope" in 2023. "Therapy Session" won the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year in 2016. "Perception" charted at number one in the United States and was certified platinum.
NF's music, influenced by artists like Eminem, Adele, and Ed Sheeran, has not only earned him accolades but has also paved the way for collaborations with artists like Flame, TobyMac, and Futuristic in both Christian and secular hip-hop genres. His music has been featured in video games like "Madden NFL 16" and "MLB The Show 18".
Despite his success in the music industry, NF has been candid about his personal life, acknowledging that his music served as an outlet for him during his difficult adolescence. Born and raised in Gladwin, Michigan, he experienced the divorce of his parents during his childhood and abuse from his mother's boyfriend. After his mother tragically died of an overdose in 2009, he dedicated his song "How Could You Leave Us" to her.
