Mr. Joseph Wambia is the Chief Investment Officer and Member of the Advisory Board at Brookwood Capital Corporation. He was previously the Managing Director (Finance) at AECOM Technology Services Corporation.
He has appeared on CNBC Street Signs and Voice of America TV; and been quoted in The Christian Science Monitor, Africa Investor, and Africa Report as an expert on investing in Africa. He has addressed the OPEX Energy Conference in Berlin, Milken Global Conference in Los Angeles, Bloomberg Africa-Investor Conference in London, and Marcus Evans Frontier Investors Summit also in London, among others. He is a corporate member of the Bretton Woods Committee, Corporate Council on Africa. He has published peer reviewed articles in policy research journals and book chapters on the political economy of large-scale institutional reforms. He recently received the Head of State Commendation (HSC) from the President of Kenya for public service in international development, capital intermediation and diplomacy for Africa.
