Jared Anderson Biography
Jared Anderson is a prolific songwriter and skilled musician based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He began as a worship leader at New Life Church and was a founding member of Desperation Band that brought a fresh sound to the modern worship movement. His songs “Rescue”, “Amazed” and “Great I Am” continue to be sung across the globe and have been translated into every major language. Anderson also released four solo albums with Integrity Music, titled Where to Begin (2006), Where Faith Comes From (2008), LIVE From My Church (2009) and The Narrow Road (2012). His wife Megan and six children also host an annual variety show called Christmas This Year to highlight their local special-needs community. Two of their children are adopted from Haiti, and both Jared and Megan are passionate advocates for families who are walking through the adoption process.

Worship Leader Jared Anderson Rescues Haitian Orphans
Jared and Megan have been married for nine years. “I always wanted a large family,” says Megan. With four children, they were on their way to fulfilling their dream of a house full of children. In 2009, Jared and Megan moved to Nashville, Tennessee. Their neighbors had been going on missions trips to Haiti and in January 2010, the tragic earthquake hit. Jared and Megan prayed for their neighbor and watched them bring home not one but two beautiful little girls from Haiti.
