Ghostland Observatory is an electro/rock music duo that hails from Austin, Texas. The duo is comprised of vocalist and occasional guitarist, Aaron Behrens, and Thomas Ross on drums and synthesizer. The band's debut album, “delete.delete.i.eat.meat,” arrived in 2005 on Turner's Trashy Moped Records. It was followed a year later by “Paparazzi Lightning.” 2007 saw the duo make their national television debut on NBC's 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien,' followed by Austin City Limits later that same year. As the duo's fan base began to swell their third studio album hit the street, “Robotique Majestique” (2008), which was well received by both fans and critics alike. The Austin American-Statesman newspaper hailed Ghostland Observatory as their 'band of the year. 2010 marked the release of Ghostland Observatory's fourth album, “Codename: Rondo,” which the band supported with small tour. The band went on to secure a slot on the Coachella festival in California, the Voodoo Experience in New Orleans and the Pacific Festival in Orange County, CA in 2011.
